Nika. An AI Model for Catalogues and Campaigns

Nika. An AI Model for Catalogues and Campaigns

The brief

I created Nika as a demonstration AI model for different brand tasks. The series contains 16 images: beauty portraits, full-length catalogue looks and advertising scenes. Every image was generated using AI.

The approach

A consistent appearance reference anchors the series. I retain the face, eyes, brows, lips, hair colour and overall character while changing clothes, lighting, angles and surroundings. I select images for recognisability and natural detail.

The catalogue examples include a trench coat from two angles, sportswear, knitwear, a dress and a tailored suit. Full bodies and footwear remain in frame, with neutral lighting to show silhouette and fabric.

Details

The campaign examples introduce skincare, a handbag in an architectural setting and a red fashion look for a banner. Beauty portraits explore soft light, glass, rose shadows and monochrome photography.

Clothing and props here are demonstration concepts. For an actual product range, I use photographs of the garments, details and fit, then check shape, colour, seams, prints and product recognisability.

This approach can support a recurring brand model across new image series. I first establish the appearance and test images, then develop an agreed selection for a catalogue, campaign or website.

From a reference to a recognisable model

This is Nika’s working reference sheet. It connects the images as a consistent system, defining her appearance and helping preserve recognisability across angles, expressions and styling.

  1. Establish the appearance

I gather the face, proportions, hair, skin details and technical views in one sheet. It becomes the visual reference for subsequent images.

  2. Test across conditions

I test different head angles, expressions, lighting and clothing, compare the results with the reference and select frames where the model remains recognisable.

  3. Build a series for the brand

I use the agreed model in catalogues, campaigns and portraits. Scenes and art direction change for each brief, while appearance is checked against the same reference.

One model. Two campaigns.

A complete advertising design combines the image, brand identity, offer and call to action. Switch brands to change the visual direction while Nika stays recognisable.
